The food was delicious and the service was really good. The only complaint was the parents who let their small children run in and out among the tables and climb across the furniture. Hard to enjoy a meal with all of that going on. Food was excellent but our service was not that great. Sweet tea instead of unsweet tea was delivered to the table and it took what felt like forever just to get our waitress to acknowledge us again to get it corrected. While waiting for our food we also noticed that the restaurant was frankly dirty once you really started looking around. Backs of booths were filthy, walls were covered in crayon in the booth we were sitting and the floors were so slippery with grease that your feet slid while walking. This is my second trip here in the past two months. We had good service but the food is not worth the trip. Both times the potatoes were so cool there was no steam and the butter would not melt. The second time my steak was over cooked. We came about 3:45pm and it was not busy but it took a long time to get the food. The manager and waitress were very accommodating and I do appreciate that. After reviewing previous posts, I wonder if they have new staff in the kitchen. I certainly hope this is the reason. I will not likely return for at least a year.
