Chesterfield West - O'Neill

This is my first time in Nebraska. My work brought me to O'Neill for the evening, and a coworker knew of this place from a previous visit. I was in the mood for a steak dinner, and Chesterfield provided. It's a bar and grill, so the meal wasn't something you'd get dressed in your Sunday best and pay towards of $50 for. But, it definitely was what I was in the mood for. Admittedly, the streak was a little tough, but I did order it medium rare, so that's to be expected. All in all, I was not disappointed. Went very well with the beer, too!

The atmosphere here was weird to say the least lots of fluorescent lights and the carpet that seriously needs rehabbing, plus the space seems a little too big for its purpose. But the bartender was super nice and mad props to Dan for making me an amazing pizza that we coordinated as I was driving across the Midwest. So great to have hot food give him my late night arrival!

I’ve visited Chesterfield West multiple times over the past few years and I always make a point to return when I'm in the area. The food is consistently excellent; everything I've tried has been top-notch. The staff is always friendly and attentive. My favorite dish so far has been the Ribeye Steak, but be sure to treat yourself to the Smoked Brisket Cheese Fries alongside a cold beer!
