Shogun Sushi And Hibachi - Onalaska

This restaurant is fantastic, conveniently located right off the I90 exit. We were returning to Chicago from Minnesota and are so glad we decided to stop here. Even though the kitchen closes at 2:45 pm and we arrived around that time, they still welcomed our order. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The lunch menu featured several appealing options, and the food was both delicious and a great value. The lunch special includes soup, sushi, a main course, and dumplings. Overall, I left as a very satisfied customer. I'm not sure when I'll travel this way again, but I would definitely love to stop by again in the future.

I absolutely love the sushi at this restaurant! I've known the previous owner for quite some time, and I appreciate the welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The new owner is fantastic as well, and I'm a big fan of the Hibachi grill. The wait staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. This place truly has a special charm. If you haven't had a chance to dine here yet, you're really missing out!

The Sunday sushi special is my favorite! You can buy one roll and get another one for free. Their spicy mayo is the best I've ever tasted; it has a nice smokiness that enhances the flavors without being too strong. The miso soup is delicious, and their fried rice with yum-yum sauce never lets me down. On Sundays, you might have to wait a bit longer for your food if you're sitting on the sushi side, but those extra few minutes are totally worth it.

Good sushi. They have a lot of specialty rolls and decent prices. Unfortunately, I will not be going here again soon. We waited 45 minutes before we were even asked for drinks and given water. Then we waited another 15 minutes to get said drinks and have our orders taken. We waited over an hour for food. We also waited 15 minutes to get the check. We spent over two and a half hours there as a party of 5. I have gotten delivery much faster. So I think they prioritizedeliveries over in person dining when it comes to making food. There would be sushi waiting for half an hour at the sushi bar because the rest of the table's order wasn't done yet. Very disappointed. If you do go, the Shogun Roll andGodzilla Roll are my favorites. The Shrimp Tempura is also very good.
