Shahi - Omaha

The food at Shahi is scrumptious and the service is top-notch! We highly recommend this restaurant as our favorite Indian spot in Omaha. It's also our go-to choice when dining downtown.

Food was fantastic and service was great. A little odd was the fact that we cannot tip our server. This restaurant has moved to a “review based” rewards program for the employees. It makes no sense to me and makes the tipping cumbersome. Other than this oddity, everything was great

Our food was delicious, and Kamala was an attentive and friendly server. We got an appetizer combo, naan, chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, and chicken rogan josh They have a no tipping policy, which kind of worried us, but our server assured us she gets more per hour than before the policy started. They do a lot of takeout business, and the takeout customers weren’t tipping anyway.

We've eaten here a few times and every time it's been great. Excellent food and service. Will definitely go back again.

Our group of friends loves eating at Shahi! The food is delicious, the seating is comfortable, and the staff are friendly. It's an especially convenient place to eat before a Creighton basketball game or an evening at the Holland Performing Art Center. We found out at this visit that the staff are now paid a decent, livable wage and so they do not accept tips. Good for Shahi! Another reason to support this great restaurant!
