The food was incredible, and the overall dining experience was fantastic. I tried the Boudin, Blackened Chicken with added shrimp, and the Étouffée with extra shrimp. The portions were generous, and everything was very satisfying. The service was quick and exceptionally friendly. Our server even offered us our drinks to go when I mentioned a nearby appointment, without me even asking.

Absolutely amazing! It's been a while since I’ve experienced such high-quality flavors in Omaha, and Mouth of the South certainly delivers. We relished every single dish we ordered. If you love Southern cuisine or are searching for the perfect spot for hangover food, this is the place for you!

This restaurant is truly underrated. With a background in fine dining, I was incredibly impressed by the level of service I received at Mouth of the South (thanks to my server Luke). From beginning to end, the food, ambiance, and overall experience were fantastic. My water glass was always full, plates were cleared quickly, and the food arrived at the table with perfect timing. The Voodoo Shrimp Grits, Crab Cakes, Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese, and Crab Dip are all absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning and can’t wait to try more items from the menu!

Fabulous menu, it was hard to decide what to eat. Choice of Voodoo shrimp and Jambalaya rocked and was plenty to satisfy our hunger. The french bread melted in your mouth. The Chef was excellent in delivering flavor profiles , dont let him/her go!!!Service was friendly, fast and with great pride the best we've seen in Omaha!. If you looked just right, you could see the ownerinspecting all dishes before they went out. We were one of many tables where he personally delivered our meals right away whilethey were hot. We will definitely be back.

Tried the MOTS Tacos (blackened shrimp), Boudin Balls and Tour Of New Orleans (Jambalaya, Gumbo and Crawfish Mac) were great. Would return!
