フィードバックを提供するI rated the goat vindaloo 4 stars; I appreciated that the dish had no bones, but the goat was noticeably tougher than the lamb. If you prefer tender meat, you might want to avoid this one. The butter chicken gets 4.25 stars. It’s a solid option—though not my favorite version, it’s still very good. As for the lamb tikka masala, I give it 5 stars. The lamb was tender, and the seasoning was my favorite. If I could only recommend one dish, it would definitely be this one. The salmon moile is tricky; I’d rate it between 4 to 5 stars. It starts off strong, but doesn't hold up as well compared to the other dishes. Make sure to enjoy it first because it begins at 5 stars and quickly drops to a 4 if you take your time. The butter naan was pretty plain; it was fine and crispy but nothing spectacular. However, we really enjoyed the garlic naan and agreed that if you can get garlic naan, the butter naan simply isn’t worth it. Unfortunately, service continues to be an issue, but the food makes up for it. The prices are reasonable, so just be ready to ask for what you need. Knowing this in advance definitely makes your experience smoother. There’s parking available in a medium-sized shared lot.
It was a fantastic experience! We arrived quite early and were seated right away, although we had made a reservation on OpenTable just in case. There were five of us in total. We shared three appetizers: garlic naan, cheese naan, masala fries, and the kebab trio. I opted for the classic chicken biryani, while one of my friends tried the special Chicken Dum biryani, which featured a bone-in half chicken; mine was boneless. We also ordered Malai Kofta (not sure about the spelling), which had a slight sweetness that I really enjoyed, along with flavorful curry and tikka masala. One friend decided to be adventurous and ordered the Tellicherry Pepper Goat—just be careful with the bones in that dish. Their mango lassi was among the best I've had in Omaha and definitely one of the most affordable!
I had a fantastic experience at this Indian restaurant! While visiting Omaha, I was drawn here by their vegan options. I tried the masala fries, garlic naan, and jackfruit biryani, and I was impressed by the vibrant flavors in each dish. Everything was fresh and delicious, with just the right level of spice. I placed a takeout order, and the staff was incredibly friendly and efficient in preparing my meal. I highly recommend this place!
If you like spicy, this is the place to be. You get a choice between mild, medium, hot, and extra hot. I went with medium Aloo Gobi and was surprised I had to ask for their yogurt blend to tame it down. The service and staff were fantastic. This is the go-to spot for Indian cuisine.
This was my very first time eating Indian Cuisine, so I was naturally apprehensive. My son got a recommendation for Kinaara from a coworker who had been visiting Omaha. (I love personal recommendations. The signage on the outside is very (very nondescript, but I understand in October 2022, Kinaara is moving to a new location (so probably a good thing . Immediately upon entering Kinaara, I thought, wow, not a very big place, but tables and seats were almost all taken (a good sign . We were immediately greeted and seated. We did let the staff know it was our first time eating Indian Cuisine and asked for their recommendations. Our server, Ian, immediately placed on our table a water pitcher, and we happened to notice that all of the tables had ample water pitchers on their table, which is a win as we love water. At no time did our water glasses or pitcher go empty. On to the food, our server gave an absolute amazingly detailed description of anything we had questions on. When we simply asked him for recommendations, Ian provided, again, impeccable detail and tantalizing descriptive details of his recommendations. It was very clear that Ian had actually tried and loved what he recommended! We ended up ordering (on Ian's recommendation the chili garlic naan and the cheese naan, and they did not disappoint. For our entree, (again, on Ian's recommendation we ordered the butter chicken and the special of the evening beef coconut fry. We shared our meals to taste both of them, and again, cannot stress enough that Ian's recommendations were spot on delicious. We kind of thought we were done eating, until low and behold, the dessert recommendations came. No, really, we thought we were done, but so far, the restaurant's recommendations were spot on, and we had to order their sticky date pudding. O-M-G, again, Kinaara's blew us away til the very end. We all absolutely loved the pudding. We will certainly be back to Kinaara's and cannot wait to share with family and frie
