フィードバックを提供するWe visited Austin's on an early Saturday evening. It wasn't busy when we arrived but by the end of our dinner the place was starting to get busy. The wait staff was very courteous and attentive. All of the food was very good and the desserts were huge. Austin's is a place that we will definitely return too.
Austin's Steakhouse Saloon is now my favorite restaurant in Omaha. Their food was sooooo good! I came in not expecting much, but I left having tried the best sautéed mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and steak I've ever had we've eaten at some pretty upscale places. The inside decor is warm exciting! The lighting inside was so unique and still captures my attention. Our waitress was super friendly and loved talking about the decor and the future for this restaurant. I really look forward to coming back in! I HIGHLY recommend anyone and everyone come try this place. The prices aren't bad at all and the food is incredible! If you come in, be sure to ask for Makayla. She was super helpful and polite! I'm certain you won't regret coming here! ????
My wife, daughter, grandson, and myself went there on my birthday, Saturday April 30, 2022. I was really excited to go. The staff was amazing and very attentive to our table. For what we ordered I felt the price was very good, we got a good bang for our buck. We had 3 steaks, 3 appitizers, and two of us had shrimp added to our meals, one was broiled, and mine was breaded shrimp. We had a reservation and was seated as soon as we walked in. I thought the place wasn't very busy, but by the time we were left it was packed. The food was good and plentiful. The reason I am only doing 4 stars, is although the food was very good, it lacked seasoning, my mom always use to say a little salt goes a long way. The fried potato skins was an example, the meat they use on it had no flavor which took away from the dish. The breading on the fried pickles, Jalepeno poppers and my fried shrimp add on also tasted like no salt was used, they really need to look at the breading mixture as well as the meat mixture and see if more salt is required to make those items better. My wife also said when she took her first bite of her steak it lacked salt, but when she added some from the shaker it was really good. I realize the thought may be, then add salt, but flavor comes out so much more balanced when the seasoning is added prior to cooking. I will give high praise to the cook staff, my wife ordered her steak well done, I always cringe when she does that, as steak gets tougher with the more you cook it. My wife was still able to slice it with a butter knife, that is really hard to do. Mine was cooked to the perfect medium well and was very tender. We will be back, as we enjoyed our visit.
My partner and I decided to try this place because we 've read great reviews. The place is nice and the food is awesome...BUT, my partner and I cannot hear ourselves or our server because of this obnoxiously loud server. He is serving people from two tables away from us, he just had to make sure he is THE ONLY ONE that can be heard in the room The people he 's serving are not really talking, more of waiting for him to shut up! Sir, not everyone wants to hear what you have to say! Tone down your voice!
Food is okay, but priced about 3x what it's worth. Good grief. Started with an appetizer of 4 medium-sized shrimp wrapped in bacon, which was $15. Then for my meal I got some dish that was fajita meat mixed up with mushrooms and surrounded by about half a potato's worth of mashed potatoes, and the thing was $28. I had to coat it in A1 and salt and pepper just so it would taste like something. Save your money, go to Outback. Half the price and twice the flavor. Austin's seems to think they're some fancy steakhouse to justify these prices and I promise they're not.
