フィードバックを提供するOn our way to the south we stayed one night in the recommendable Pavillon Bleu (Olivet) and found out that the kitchen was closed.. a quick look on Tripadvisor learned that restaurant Laurendière still had 1 table available. The terras was shady and despite the road nearby pretty quiet. Starting with a nice glass of pastis we were flabbergasted when we got the wine list. Never in my life I saw such an extensive list/ book in such a relatively small and modest restaurant. We finally choose a Guigal Condrieu, absolute superb . Diner was great with a spectaculair cheese trolley as a fantastic finish. I told monsieur le proprietaire I could not believe all listed wines were in stock. I was invited to have a look in the cellar the next day at 9.30. What an amazing experience even Chateau d 'yquem 1940 in stock! in a very very small cellar Be aware that this is the place to visit when you are around and enjoy as much as we did.
The staff was so kind and welcoming. We speak no French, so they helped us order the perfect dinner. Both of our fish dishes were wonderful. And the suggested local wine was great. It is the highest rated place in the area for a good reason. They earned it.
Excellent value and lovely service. Apéro, amuse bouche, starter, main, cheese, dessert for 31 EURs. Very good value. Service excellent. Changed unwanted Brussels sprouts without a problem and apologised when it was purely a question of my personal taste. Rare in France. Lovely crockery and all very clean. The decor needs a bit of love but it was lovely. Individual hand towels in the bathroom is a lovely touch. Homemade biscuits with the coffee to put the icing on the cake. Would recommend without hesistation.
This is a traditional French restaurant. Not cutting edge by any means but a lovely ambience and superb friendly service . The food was excellent with two amuse bouches and a reasonable choice . Not desperately expensive with the cheaper menu 29 euros and a la Carte mains about 25 euros . Has also the great distinction of being open Sunday evening . Easily reached by car from Orleans in just a few minutes and you can park outside or nearby .
