I had an amazing time at M George's! I had the chance to chat with the owner and tried some tequila-infused Mexican beer. I will definitely be returning tomorrow. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Stopped for lunch at Gecko’S during our Oliver/Osoyoos wine tour based on recommendations by staff at two different wineries. Its on the main street in downtown Oliver. Street parking was easy this visit. Lounge/bar area at the entrance, food/table seating in the back. Friendly waitress, water and menus arrived quickly. Family style diner with homemade ingredients. Ordered the daily special Philly Steak & Cheese. Huge serving, tasty, good to share. Second was the Deluxe Burger. Homemade very big patty. Tasty, ended up eating it with fork & knife as I could not keep the contents in the bun. Also ordered a side of fries to share (fresh cut and good). Overall an acceptable lunch but too much food for us. Washrooms clean, credit cards accepted. Good lunch spot for hungry diners.

This is the second visit to this eatery in the last couple of months, both times for lunch. Both my wife and I are very impressed with the quality, and quantity of the food we have tried, and the waitress has been very pleasant. Initially we thought prices to be a bit on the high side, but once you see how large the portions are, and more importantly, how great the food tastes, we changed our opinion. We have tried 3 different sandwiches, and the fish and chips, and they were all fantastic! The fries are great, and the coleslaw that came with the fish and chips is literally the best I can recall ever eating. The building could maybe use a little more charm, but it is in no way going to keep us from coming here when we are in town.

Ate here multiple times during our visit in Oliver. Me and my husband are both vegan and found lots of great options for us, and out meat eater friends! If you haven't done so, come in and give it a try! Yumm
