Forgood Restaurant Lounge Bar

Coming directly from 2 Michelin star Mirazur, I was not looking for fine dining just decent pasta. I had this and more, a very generous serving of cold cuts, decent bruschetta and tagliata. Wine list is larger than I expected from the outlay of restaurant. Very friendly service.

En-route to Greece my partner and I stayed at the hotel next door and Forgood was recommended to us at the hotels reception. We received a nice welcome on arrival and we were shown to our table outside the restaurant. The menu had a good selection of dishes and a good choice of wines were also available. We chose a mixed meat platter for a starter and when it arrived it would have been sufficient for two as a main course. We were looking forward to the main course arriving if the quality of the starter was anything to go by. Unfortunately when they arrived both our main courses were very disappointing, bland in taste and presentation in fact its the first meal we've not finished for a long while. Very disappointing after the starter we'd had, we felt the main course was very overpriced and very average. Personally I would give it a miss if you're in the area.

My wife and were referred to For Good by our hotel manager, and I am SO glad were. We both immediately found great choices on their menu, each was prepared using freshly made pastas, sauces and ingredients, and were SO DELIZIOSO.. Our server was delightful and very helpful in describing our meal choices. The atmosphere was quaint, yet warm. The menu limited, but VERY adequate for a fabulous meal and experience. Our meals came out quickly as we discussed our plans for the next day. I would highly recommend this restorante if ever near Olgiate

Nice location and good food. The meat and cheese platter (can't remember the name) is more than enough for two.. don't order one each. The pasta and wime werr nice.. but I was a bit disappointed that they do not have pizzas on the menu. We enjoyed our food though and the service was good.

Staying at the Albergo D120 hotel, the hotel recommended this restaurant. As the neighbor far from most other restaurants, it could have been an empty recommendation, but the intention was clearly (as everything on the Hotel) positive. The restaurant is a rare mix of dishes that includes all the needed italien classics some with a twist, super steaks, homemade burgers and even mexican food. Everything we tasted was well made, tasty and really good. And at a reasonable pricepoint. Everybody eats at ForGood : Families, class reunions, couple on dates and older couples on pension on a night out. So the restaurant is quite lively, All enjoy the food and the pleasant waiters. We can recommend this place. The Menu is not in English, but the waiters will guide you 're way. Recommend booking on Friday/Saturday
