Cafe Ez - Old Ellicott City

I like to stop by this cafe when I'm near Ellicott City. It doesn't look like much from the street, but it's a homey little cafe with a great brunch menu. I recommend the grilled cheese benedict with chorizo (see photo).

The amazing food makes up for the lack of atmosphere. Gluten free crepes are great and lots of yummy drinks and smoothies one of the best iced Chai lattes I've had! I also highly recommend the shrimp and grits.4 stars for service only because no table service. You have to walk up to the front to order. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crepes here

We had a very gracious host and amazing food that came out quickly. i loved the smoothie and iced dirty chai with oat milk as well. we are both looking forward to dining again and trying other delicious sounding items on the menu. : Dietary restrictions: vegetarian and gluten free options, they also were nice about checking in with us about ingredients in the items we ordered.

This place makes the best iced lattes! 10/10 recommend!

Driving from DC to NJ and we were hungry for breakfast, so we took the 1st exit we saw which happened to be Ellicot City. After a quick Google search search, this place came up as a top search result. Cafe EZ is a small storefront at the end of a nondescript office strip mall.What this spot lacks in atmosphere, it makes up for with an extreamly friendly and attentive owner and very delicious food. The Baltimore, California, and Banana Strawberry Nutella crepes were very good! The next time we are in the area, we will make a planned stop here along the way.
