Johnny's Bbq Olathe

The staff was excellent and very friendly. They are what kept any stars on here at all. The food was almost completely devoid of any smoked flavor. It could have been cooked in any oven. There was barely any seasoning at all. By the number of guestscoming in, it must not always be this way. I noted when we walked in that the BBQ aroma was very slight compared to every BBQrestaurant I've ever been to and I wondered about that.

If heaven was a BBQ joint it would be Johnny's. Everything on the menu is the best in it's class by far. I've been eating Kansas City BBQ for over 30 years and Johnny's as outdone every other joint. Seriously order one of each thing on the menu, you won'tbe disappointed. P.S. Best in house BBQ sauce I've ever had Especially the Spicy)

The BBQ here is consistently excellent. My top choices are the pulled pork and sausage. The staff is always friendly, and the restaurant maintains a clean atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. As soon as you arrive, you're greeted by the sight of the wooden exterior and the delightful aroma of smoked meat. I ordered the special, which consisted of ribs, French fries, smoky beans, bread, a pickle, and a soft drink. The portion sizes were generous and everything was delicious. The ribs were incredibly tender and fell right off the bone. I especially enjoyed the beans, which had a genuine smoky flavor. I would have preferred the bread to be toasted, but it didn’t affect my overall enjoyment. I also tried a regular pulled pork sandwich, which came with a hefty portion as well. The staff was very polite, offering recommendations and highlighting the special I chose. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!

The burnt ends dinner was fantastic. The baked beans were superb, and the coleslaw was equally impressive. Their barbecue sauces are some of the best I've ever tasted, anywhere. I highly recommend this place!
