フィードバックを提供するI had the spicy victories (which the woman mentioned might be the best she's ever had anywhere), pot stickers (not the frozen kind), Mongolian Beef (which is spicy—and I mean HOT!), pork lo mein, mu shu (yes, they still have mu shu!), and egg rolls. Everything was excellent. The only other Chinese restaurant I know is Sichuan Garden in Plainview, but there's no competition! I can't wait to go back! When you call in for takeout, the service is great. The interior is quiet and dim, with TVs you can watch at your leisure while enjoying your meal. The only drawback in the layout is the long, narrow hallway that leads you in—two large Americans walking side by side would certainly be a tight squeeze! From our two visits, the only negative things I could mention are that the mu shu didn’t come with plum sauce, although it was still delicious. The hot soup was a bit unusual—no bamboo shoots, lotus root, or mushrooms that I could see. It mainly contained cabbage, onions, and... chicken!? The soup itself was quite spicy and very sour. So, while I'll give it a thumbs up for flavor, I'll give it a thumbs down for being strange. In conclusion, if you're looking for Chinese food around the Preston Outer Loop, this is the place to go! It’s a gem!
The staff is friendly, and the food is fantastic. Be sure to try their orange dipping sauce with the delicious egg rolls. The restaurant has a small, cozy atmosphere. The carry-out service is quick, and the food is well-packaged for safe transport. Prices are reasonable, though slightly higher than for lunch. The egg drop soup and wonton soup are both outstanding.
One of my favorite places. Whether I'm going to eat with the hot and acidic or icy soup or have dinner... I have become friends with the owners and very good friends with one of the employees (tell Kim connie says hello when you visit)!!! I discovered them 9 years ago and make it a point to go often and when I am sick, they are the place to get soup when I can eat. Love it... it won't give up!
The appearance may be off-putting, but the prices and the food were quite reasonable.
China Garden is the bees knees. I ahev been eating at China GArden since I was 5 years old, over 30 years now. I have always liked their food and have always loved the service. Their fried wontons and egg rolls are the best ever.
