フィードバックを提供するI've been patron of pelican for years. you eat is consistently good and the bar is cozy. there are two small tw’s above the bar. one plus would be bigger, better quality tw’s. pelican’s is not really the place to watch sport. the salatable and suppe offers variety and fresh and is paired with the hot bread a meal in itself. <= <= < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < <
We spent (with top) for adult and small children. we have an appetizer, both adults got a limo, and children's dishes containing a drink. we were served with half a bread of sourdough bread and butter that my children disappeared. appetizer: chicken nachos for the price I expected the least homemade tortilla chips and freshly grated cheese. that were in the round round white maischips, preshrunked cheese, carving of dry chicken and saw a plastic skirt from acid. only the first layer had any hits and underneath was a baptism of simple maischips. none of my children would eat them and they love chips, cheeses and chickens... entreès: king crab, loaded kartoffels, salat bar hubby said the crab was perfectly cooked and actually ended it with the children who loved it too. When his teller arrived, I thought honestly, the kartoffels were steamed flower cabbage. the loaded part came as separate piles on a feed plate (sahne, butter, pre-shrunked cheese, cut green planks). hubby didn't really care about this set-up because the toppings were all cold, so after mixing in the kartoffels they were also cold. salatbar was quite delicious. there was the typical romaine and crushed red cabbage, some wild spinach, several milk-based dressings (franch, bleu cheese, etc. and a few tomato-based dressings. hut cheese, cut pickles, freeze-dried speck pieces (the hard, crispy art), tiny rock hard crowses, thicker preshrunked cheese, some kind pasta salad with gurkens in it, kartoffelsalat, two suppers I did not try but advised nice, and several other things. the engraving was not pfeffercreme engraving-- only clear white. the cfs had crispy and easily got apart with a fork. there was neither toughness nor gristle. I would order it again. the kartoffels were clear powdered and so thick stick to the dach of my mouth, even after I mixed my gravitation. there was no spice, so they needed plenty of salt and pepper to make them edible. kartoffels are cheap and easy to make, so I have no idea why a restaurant that is charged for a meal would use pulverized kartoffels. my meal came with two raw baby carrots. I'm not sure why she didn't really go to dinner, but I don't complain. they were perhaps meant to be garnelen as they were placed with a spear by Italian petersilie. the meals came with tempura-battered jumbo garnel, French fries, who had sprinkled a kind of spices on them (I didn't taste them, but it looked like seasoned salt), and two plastic wheels with ketchup and cocktail sauce. the fries seemed frozen and fried, not freshly cut. a child has turned off his whole plate and the other has not touched it. it looked like a pretty good child option for me.
We spent over $100 with lace) for 2 adults and 3 small children. we have an appetizer, both adults got a limo, and 3 children's dishes containing a drink. we were served with half a bread of sourdough bread and butter that my children disappeared. appetizer: chicken nachos $12.99) for the price I expected the least house roasted tortilla chips and freshly grated cheese. that were seen in the round round white corn chips, pre-shrunked cheese, carving dry-whn and a plastic cream from acid. only the first layer had any hits and underneath was a baptism of simple maischips. none of my children would eat them and they love chips, cheese and chicken. entreès: 1) 8oz king Crab...read more
Sometimes, when they visit a new place, they get a beautiful surprise, which is exactly what our midday experience revealed. great personal, atmosphere, presentation and eating. thank you, pelican’s, we will be back.
When I think of pelicans, I immediately think of their French wobble soup they serve every day. it has a deep aromatized broth and tons tweeping. it comes as part of the salatable, which also has another offer than the suppe of the day. the prices are a bit high, but the value and the quality there is. the steaks come out well, the salatable is decent. most meals come with a broth and real butter. the atmosphere has a kind of covered but still structured feeling, they have a kind of docks/pub motiwf. the server are attentive, but occasionally they are jumped by one or more large groups. under these circumstances, the staff still performs quite well. this will probably be a bit of the...more
