Flint - Oklahoma City

I've always enjoyed it for brunch. but the new brunch menu is unpleasant – the selections seem limited. I had avocado toast that was not delicious at all and the brot seemed rocky. at least 3 of the 6 commands were wrong. there was a long wait to be served. once served, we were somehow left to ourselves. could not get any attention! I finally found someone for more coffee. too many other great options for great meals in the city. I'm sorry, flint, we're done.

Great atmosphere and good food. only the complaining was the server that is sitting at the adjacent table and with view on our table, although we are sitting first. both tables were in a hurry to visit an event in the city, but server more on the other table.

The food and service was Amazing!! We were celebrating our anniversary and everything was perfect.

Flint is an upscale restaurant located inside the Colcord Hotel. We arrived on a Friday for dinner reservations. For the appetizer we ordered the coconut scallops. The scallops were served over a bed of coconut rice and jerk sauce. They were absolutely delicious. For dinner, I ordered the 6 oz Prime Petite Filet of Black Angus. It came with asparagus and flint mac and cheese. I substituted the asparagus for mashed potatoes because I'm not a fan of asparagus. I should have also substituted the flint mac and cheese because it definitely left a lot to be desired. It lacked in flavor and cheese. What a huge disappointment. Luckily, my medium rare steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned to perfection and melted in my mouth, therefore, I will not deduct a star for the bland mac and cheese. My boyfriend ordered the blackened chicken fettuccine which did not disappoint. He also received a complimentary cheesecake for his birthday. I would definitely recommend Flint. The food was great, we were seated on time for our reservation and the staff was friendly and attentive.

We had an excellent experience (our best in OKC so far at The Flint on Thanksgiving Day. The food and service were both excellent and on par with world-class restaurants. Thanks Flint for making our special day (holiday birthday! very enjoyable. Note: This restaurant has been recently renovated and feels brand new, with a very upscale vibe. All seating is also very uncomfortable and nice windows throughout.
