I would also recommend the Szechuan-style braised beef shank noodle soup, although it could have been improved with slightly thicker noodles. The meat was incredibly soft and tender, which was a highlight. As for the beef with cumin, the flavor was a bit too strong for my taste, though my husband liked it. Overall, the food was good, but I would choose a different place for better service.
We ordered chili chicken, meicai pork belly, mushrooms, and rice cake. The chili chicken was the standout dish; the others were just okay.
The restaurant's exterior lacks curb appeal, and the interior theme feels a bit off. It was very warm inside, and there appeared to be a leak in the roof, as we noticed wet spots on the ceiling tiles above us that seemed to have been there for a while. I hope they improve their customer service because it’s much needed. If you decide to give it a try, I hope your experience is better than ours. Happy feasting, everyone!
The only place in town that I know of where you can get delicious fried rice customized to your specification for $1.70.
