Black Walnut - Oklahoma City

We got the tomahawk and it was missing more flavor it wasn't like the other times I had it, and it was kinda smaller we usually eat half but this time we finished it. but overall the the food was good

Why did we wait so long to go here? It will now be added to my regular go-to list. (In fact, I already booked a lunch there with friends. It was tempting to return this weekend for dinner). The food was beautifully presented with a perfect balance of flavors. The fried green tomatoes were exceptional and the house salad my husband ordered was HUGE with finely chopped walnuts and thinly sliced watermelon radish and chopped apples. Everything was prepared with a deft hand. I always try the branzino when I see it on a menu (not seen often enough around here). It was sweet, soft and succulent.. the leeks and tomatoes were the perfect touch. Plus who knew Ora King salmon had such a different texture from normal salmon? It's both meatier and more buttery. Plus the lobster broth made it sweet, too. YUM! We'll be back.

Excellent dining experience, wonderful cocktails, and imaginative menu.

The salad was good, but the overall dining experience was not what I expected.

This was my second night in a row eating dinner here. So far I've loved every dish! Going back for sure
