Mi Familia Mexican - Okeechobee

They have a lot of different flavored sodas and the food's really good. I never had a real gordita until I came here. The waitress was super helpful and kind.

We arrived shortly after lunch and had plenty of seating options. The server was friendly and we were served our water and chips and salsa pretty quick. The prices seemed ok, maybe a lil high however it was taco Tuesday so I ordered 2 tacos and she said u might as well get 4 I said I just want 2 but she insisted because I couldn't buy just 1 so rather than argue I just ordered 4. Didn't make much sense to me but they were cheap enough anyway...3 bucks for 1 so 6 for four. Not sure why I couldn't get 2 for 3 but whatever. We also ordered the nachos and when it arrived it all looked great however the meat on the nachos had zero flavor and my tacos...the worst taco meat, Carne asada I have ever had. Absolutely no flavor, just bland. And the cheese, not even sure what it was, no flavor as well. All in all not worth the money. Food just wasn't that good.

Salsa was horrible. Tacos went too bad. Don't recommend Service and staff weren't bad and where niceThe decor was ok but pretty empty

The fried quesadillas were AMZAING! I was too far in when I realized I didn't take a picture, but trust me! Atmosphere was quiet and lacked energy, but not terrible. Server could have contributed a bit more character to add that energy it needed, but she was nice, nonetheless.

My wife and I arrived well after the lunch crowd and were asked to sit wherever we wanted very nice waitress) however all the tables were dirty so we had to wait. Got seated, took a look at the menu and almost gagged at the prices they wanted for simple food no lunch menu). Thank God we got there on taco Tuesday and were able to order a couple of tacos each without breaking the bank. Both of my wife's tacos the meat was cold and I got the worst carne asada I've ever had.
