Wedgie's Pizza Parlour - Okanagan Falls

This restaurant is closed, there are now 2 new different pizza parlours in OK Falls. One is named Bullies and is run by a greek family that make the most awesome crust. Have not tried the other one.

We've been having great pizza in OK Falls for a number of years and a staple for the last night camping for a few weeks for us and a number of our friends. To our surprise when we showed up this past weekend the lights are out and no one is home. They've moved on into retirement.We just had a great pizza on a previous visit this month and thought it was the best pizza we've had - nice and crispy!Very sad to see this istablishment closed - Happy Retirement

Have rated wedges in the past at 3/5. Only because once in awhile you get a good pizza. The one good thing about wedges is they have lactose free options, soy cheese. So we order one half soy cheese, one half regular cheese, but it's pretty disappointing when they don't do it, when you have a lactose intolerant partner.

After a busy day working in OK Falls, we decided to order pizza. Options were limited, so Wedgie's it was. Ordering went super smoothly! I ordered from an out of date menu and, even though their current one didn't have the pizza I wanted, they filled my order happily. I did not go to pick the pizza up so I don't know about the inside of the restaurant. I do know that the person I sent sure would have spoken up if it was run down or dirty.Now the important part: Our pizza. The crust and sauce were both good, but nothing special. The toppings, however, were of good quality and very generous! I actually would have preferred LESS cheese! Now, how often does that happen! I enjoyed my pizza and would eat there again, even if I had more choices! It sure beat the heck out of 90% of the chain pizzas I have had!

For your dollar it is fresh made and a good price. The sauce is a sweet tomato sauce which is not to my liking
