Their muffins and pastries are also delightful. It's usually pretty busy on the weekends, so I recommend going either early or closer to closing time. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the meals and drinks are slightly overpriced compared to other places nearby.
Our server was excellent! The food arrived quickly and was incredibly fresh. While it wasn't our absolute favorite, we'd definitely be willing to give it another shot! The takeout muffins were fantastic the next day, too. You absolutely have to try their shaken espresso drinks!
The food was average—neither outstanding nor terrible. I tried the Irish Benedict, which was decent, and the coffee was quite good. However, the service left much to be desired. We had just finished our meal and were enjoying our coffee when the waitress approached us and asked if we could leave, as other customers were waiting. I understand that they need to accommodate other diners, but we had only been there for about 45 minutes, and I was still sipping the same cup of coffee that accompanied my meal, not extra cups lying around. Outside, there were only two parties waiting, so the situation didn't seem that urgent. Overall, I wouldn't return; it felt more like they were eager to take my money and rush me out the door.
Great place for breakfast offering a variety of different style breakfast dishes from Eggs Benny, Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burritos and more. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. I came here for breakfast two mornings and had the Classic Eggs Benny and the Monte Cristo. The **** Mary served up in a mini Mason jar was delicious. Would recommend dining here for a nice sit down breakfast.
Sat outside on the high top and was wonderful. At first there was a line of three other groups in front of us, but we didn't really wait on a busy Friday mid morning visit. We got sat in 2 minutes. Wife got iced coffee and I got the executive mimosa special with blood OJ, yum. The menu has it all and will not disappoint. I order the crab benedict and my wife had the Florentine Benedict. She was full just eating half her plate. I devoured my plate. The real crab and sauce hit the spot. Best breakfast place so far on Ogunquit! ??
