フィードバックを提供するMy boyfriend and I ate there today after finding them online listed as one of the The 10 Best Lobster Shacks In Maine. (9/14/09) He bit down on something hard and spit it out it was a small piece of blue colored glass we looked and found another piece of glass in the salad! I flagged down the nearest waitress and she was shocked. She said she would go let someone know. It was difficult to relax and enjoy the rest of the meal I was cautious with every bite. She later came back and said they didn't have that color glass in the kitchen. She said maybe it was from one of our Perrier bottles on the table which was green glass and not cracked or broken at all. We told our own waitress and asked her if she had reported it to the manager. She said yes and apologized. Our bill came and nothing had been taken off my boyfriend was offered another salad but he declined. We couldn't believe their response and wondered if it would have been more appropriate if we had been wearing Rolex's. The waitress told us the manager was coming to see us when she brought back the bill. We paid but never saw a sign of the manager. We didn't wait around long after paying though. How was the food? Who cares! Anyone who treats their customers like this isn't worth reviewing.
The seafood is absolutely excellent, but it is quite overpriced. If you want just great seafood, I would go to a more basic seafood shack type place in the area. But it 's good if you want a nice atmosphere for a date, or business meeting, or whatnot. The service was TERRIBLE, our young waitress just didn 't seem to want to have to do her job. Oh, and the rum punch there is amazing. I highly suggest it.
