The farm itself lies at an altitude of approx. 700m above sea level on the plateau of the Gleisrberg as the only house, wide and only lay meadow and forest. The restaurant itself is a simply but sour furnished inn with a relatively large adjoining room and a (if it seems sunny terrace). Operation We entered the local with the aim of taking space on the terrace. The sunniest table was free and so we took place there, but before that the bucket standing on the table was ready for the throat. Shortly afterwards, an elderly lady greeted us and asked if we would like to eat. She then brought a card indicating that it was only the Vesper card because the warm kitchen was only open at 6:00. It was now 17:20 and so we decided first for a white wine, as well as for a coffee with a piece of cake. This was served relatively quickly, at the same time we are rich in the evening menu with a good selection of dishes. After that, the lady dedicated herself to the gathering of the terrace and said by the way, we would also have this clean. Nice, great!? But what's up, we're in the country. In the meantime, before 18:00, another lady accepted our wishes. These were then served shortly after opening the warm kitchen. The food We chose wildragout of deer and deer with fresh mushrooms, cranberries, homemade latels and mixed salad to lt. € 16,50 as well as pork spines from the Swabian Hallic Pig *Mohrenköpfle* from the grill with herbal butter, vegetable set and fries to lt. Map € 14,80. On the way, the salad was served, very good as one gets used to it by the horn. But then the two main dishes came on too small plates.......yes the portions were so huge that, for example, the ragout had almost no more late zle on the plate. Someone's getting tired when he worked on the building for 12 hours. Tastefully it is a simple kitchen, floor-to-ceiling without any claim towards goumet kitchen. The same applies to a dessert which has been ordered at the end, I deliberately avoid the term dessert. We had chosen Tiramisu Panna Cotta to € 5,80. Luckily only one portion, which was enough for both of us and had estimated 3000 kcal : . It should also be noted that the ordered food is lt in terms of prices. Map was not correct, but we only noticed later. They can see and understand this on the basis of the invoice I have set in the jpg format. The ambience As already said, simple but clean furnishings as expected from a farm inn. The whole is embedded in pure nature. Only the passing road in the direction of Öhningen is an Eldorado for lawn without brain, perhaps also a test track for self-tapped cars. Cleanliness No great and therefore nasty vulnerabilities, we even cleaned when guests are there:
