Fratelli's Italian Kitchen Oceanside

I had asked a piece of cake and candle that it was my men's birthday when I made the reservation and nobody realized that we had even birthday. We were moved in and there were 6 stands, 5 the occupied were The 6th was empty and owner was hesitating to put us there, only in the case that a larger group came in the guessing . . I would understand if it was packed, but there were only 5 booths and all tables were empty. We felt weird. We didn't even take off our coats and the owner asked us if we wanted to drink. I'm not a fan of haste. When I remember correctly, I am the one who only expanded my courtesy by adding his vacation. He said he had no help and had to work. He didn't know we were in the same boat, but didn't let him know that the second we started talking. We made reservations six months ago and he basically said the same. I felt bad. I wasn't this time. He has to brighten his mood for his customers and they feel like they belong. Six months ago he had only one kind of beer six months later. The food was sub par. I myself had the chicken piccata that was threatened in oil. Husband had chicken parmesan . This time it was last processed, it was fresh. We're in the grocery business and that's unacceptable. I left a pity. This will only go so far with people. We know good Italian food and the food the ambience and the service were just BLAH! Christine Carlo

We love the food every time we go to Fratelli’s. They had some trouble finding our reservation but finally put us in a nice booth. Our waiter was very thoughtful but oh so busy and it took 20 minutes or more to order our food. He wasn’t rushing us but we only had an hour for dinner.

This is a hardcore Italian restaurant. The atmosphere reminded me of a mix of a New York basement with the European flair California offers. We had a large party and we had some add-ons to our meals. I asked if they could put sausage and bella tomatoes in my chicken alfredo. They had no problem with my request and everything came out perfectly. I marked it as one of my favorites for I will be back.

We visited Fratelli's for the first time and were truly impressed! Despite the busy dinner rush, the entire staff worked hard to deliver exceptional service and incredibly tasty food. The meatballs and antipasto salad, paired with the complimentary bread and pesto, almost filled us up before our pomodoro and lasagna arrived. The authentic flavors and excellent service made for a winning combination.

BEST FOOD EVER!! If I could give 1000000 stars I would! Fast food delivery and service. Staff is kind, helpful, and very attentive! Holy moly.. this place has it going on! From 1st appearances I would have guessed that this place was closed or ghetto. Sadly, no curb appeal but it's a hidden gem for sure!!!!
