Assateague Grill - Ocean City

The sandwich at this restaurant includes authentic turkey and ham, enough to serve two people due to its large size. Additionally, the Smith Island Cake was delightful and is the best version of this dessert that I have ever tried in Ocean City, Maryland.

We ordered banana and chocolate pancakes, but were disappointed to find only 1/4 of a banana and very few chocolate chips. The bacon and sausage were cooked in the microwave, which was a letdown. However, the Strawberry Shortcake French Toast was delicious and came in a generous portion size.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Mushroom Swiss Burger. It was accompanied by a generous serving of fries, which were tasty, although I would have preferred them with less salt. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again.

Glazed Salmon was very bland and overcooked the Chicken Marsala need more sauce and should have the option to order with pasta.

I visited this restaurant on my way to Assateague Island and found it to be a quaint and hidden treasure attached to a gas station. The small establishment serves delicious food, and I look forward to returning for breakfast.
