Cafe Snack Bar - Óbidos

Not a tourist friendly restaurant. limited seating and unfriendly staff. Although prices are higher, you will find better eating experiences in the center of óbidos.

Eating was decent enough...not a wow affordable fast and easy. typical Portuguese eating, simple, fill.

Love this local restaurant just 10 min walk from our guest house in Obidos. Home cooked food with no frills! Fresh fish, large portions, and delicious!! To top it all, inexpensive. 3 of us are there twice. First time it was 25 euros including desert...and wine Second time was 35 euros as we ordered different things this is as expensive as it gets! A litre of wine is 3 euros here!! Go for the fresh fish or the blackened pork strips.

Our family have been going to this restaurant for several years and it has never disappointed. The sea bream is unbelievable; the portions are very generous and the service is good.

Value for money it is superb. Not the nicest of settings, but great variety of food, the prawn curry is excellent.
