El Gallo Borracho - Oberursel (Taunus)

In mid-December, it was quite cold in the restaurant. The tapas were tastefully a tired rabble of the once really delicious food. The price-performance ratio is no longer true. The young man who served us was very friendly.

Eating fine, ABER!!! Operation was more than unfriendly here. Beverages were empty, there was no need to drink. When we walk out, we had to listen to the fact that there was no schnapps on the house because there was too little tip.... For more tips, you should be a bit more friendly! Here we were the first and last time!

Los dos camareros españoles y muy simpáticos! La comida buena (las bravas son tipo arrugadas con mojo, no son bravas pero en Hessen no encuentras otro mejor!)

Wir waren eine Gruppe von ca. 17 Personen. Die Getränke waren relativ schnell bestellt und alles kam ebenfalls schnell an den Tisch. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Bestellung für das Essen ging ebenfalls flott über die Bühne. Leider war es dann doch etwas Chaotisch, so dass Speisen vergessen wurden. Teilweise wurde auf Nachfrage "nachgeliefert". Kurz: Das Restaurant war sehr voll und die Küche dadurch leider überfordert. Die Qualität der Speisen war allerdings sehr gut. Unsere Gruppe war aber ziemlich entspannt. Schlußendlich war es ein schöner Abend!

Food was good. Was surprised to have something authentic in Little Ursel. But would advice to book a table in advance especially during dinner peakhours. Or anything above 6. Both times we visited, it was seemingly full and we only got a place coz of our prior reservation.
