Origen - OAXACA DE JUÁREZ

La comida de Oaxaca es excelente. El personal aquí es muy bueno, excepto por una persona: la anfitriona que automáticamente asumió que hablábamos inglés porque una de nosotras era güera. También nos preguntó qué tipo de agua queríamos. Pedí un vaso de agua, sin hielo; ella dijo que no. Luego regresó al final de la comida para cobrar con tarjeta de crédito y rechazó mi Amex (porque no quería usar otra máquina). Le pregunté si aceptaban Amex y la respuesta fue sí, pero esta máquina no lo aceptaba. La noche de negocios estuvo bien, pero esta persona la arruinó. No fue solo que no pude usar mi tarjeta de visita, sino que fue vergonzoso que ocurriera en una cena de negocios.

With one of the best chefs in Mexico you get a menu that is very interesting and capturing Oaxaca today and tomorrow. We did not have the menu dégustation but tried starters and mains that we have never had before and this was fantastic!

I don’t know if it was because we did the tasting menu for a 9;15 pm dinner on Independence Day but it was so so so slow and the food was just alright after we went in with high expectations from recommendations

That was such a delicious meal. everything we ate was the top notch. my favorite was the hunch and the kartoffels. it was just the service that has left us a one-way without checking us, but eating is done for it! if they don't get a reservation, they go to lunch from 1 3! they are booked at night, but this is a place they are ned to try when they are in oaxaca.

Fantastic food in beautiful environments! We went for the à la carte instead of the tasting menu, but I would definitely return and do it over again. The dining room is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The ceviche on fish was lovely, the...duck as well, wonderful deserts. Thank you and I hope to return one day since Oaxaca is a wonderful city and absolutely worth a trip.
