Maluca - Oakville

Maluca is very aesthetically pleasing, and their service matches the ambience. The staff is always friendly + happy to serve, + we love the complementary popcorn they serve. They have a great wine selection, and always play great music. A great first date spot! (I know from experience) :)

Perfect venue for our BNI Masterminds group of 40 People to celebrate the season! Special thanks to Richard, Tammy and Debbie and the attentive staff serving drinks and fabulous food both hot and cold and ever so delectable, I would highly recommend Maluca as a place to go for a great evening out

This restaurant is a kind of modern, yet classic, trendy place to go. The menu is substantial, yet it doesn't feel like you have too many choices. The service was lovely, it was almost like we had a personal server for our table alone. The seating was a but strange, there were 8 of us and I felt like the tables they pushed together were awkward and not meant to be. Booths were available (it was not very busy for a Sunday evening). That being said, I was very surprised it wasn't busier. The food was excellent, we had some appetizers charcuterie board and Portuguese style fries. The board was excellent, not a morsel of food left. The salmon was a large piece and was said to be good. The steak was made to order and was also large, though I didn't like that it came on a mountain of fries and was served just as that. The chorizo burger was liked however very messy to eat. The duck confit flat bread was delicious but I would suggest it as an appetizer or to share 2 entrees with someone else, as it was a lot one item. The chocolate lava cake was alright if you like chocolate cake. I found it overly moist. Would definitely go back again! This is a nice place

Last night my husband and I went to Maluca for drinks. It was around 10:45pm and I wasn't sure if they would still be serving or not. We sat at the bar and the bartender was unbelievable. He made some suggestions and we decided to pick something he recommended. It was a great place and my husband and I thought the bartender was great at his job.

Exactly what Oakville needs, cocktails, wine and simple but delicious food. Great place for a date or catching up with old friends. Highly recommended
