Ihop Oakley, Ks

June 2022. It is ihop, the taste is consistent with its locations. It was busy but conveniently located directly on the highway and attached to TA truck stop.

The food was very good. Wait staff not so much. Was a little discouraged when I was standing to wait to be seated there was hardly any customers in there but she looked at me and made eye contact multiple times without coming over to see me. Finally got seated and for only being a few customers it took way longer than it should have to get our order drinks etc. Most customers seem to not be locals and just traveling and we're getting similar service but when a gentleman came in that was clear was a local and was known to them they were very quick to seat and get his drinks and food.

Came in during the evening. The waiters were very nice and attentive. Very nice surprise out in western Kansas. Keep up the good work. Have stopped here for years. Always a pleasant place to spend the night.

Good Food . Pleasant atmosphere. Terrific Wait Staff . Attentive , well mannered and polite young ladies. Wow , so refreshing to see . Their Mother works there also and did a super fine job in raising her children . She can be Proud . Seriously .

This place was crazy packed when we arrived so it took a minute to get our food, but it is one of the only spots in this area off the highway, so it's not their fault. The service was nice and the food was good. The gift shop is pretty cool, with quite a few trinkets to choose from. Overall, not a bad highway stop.
