Zachary's Chicago Pizza - Oakland

I absolutely adore Zachary's for its rich history and delicious food. The meatballs and spinach salad are both delightful treats, and I always enjoy the satisfying deep dish spinach pizza.

I had to contact the restaurant directly for special requests since they do not accept online requests. The man I spoke with was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. I was sending a gift and was unsure of what would be delivered, but he reassured me and put my mind at ease.

The medium thin crust pizza was delicious! It was fun that they allowed me to do half and half with different toppings. Unfortunately, my salad was missing from my order. I'm sure it would have been delicious too.

Their deep dish pizza is always great, but that thin crust pizza feels and tastes like that pre-made dough you get at the grocery store. It was super crunchy, salty, and dry. Stick to the deep dish y 'all.

Cool pizza place, a lot of nice street art hanging in the walls. The is really good, my 1st time trying Chicago style, good experience and oh boy it fills you up!
