The Turkey Hall - Oakland

Buffet was good, food was fresh. Pricey for the area at $40.00 for the prime rib,$30.00 without. Nice people, relaxing atmosphere.

My friend said it best, We know ya 'll are happy because we can taste it in the food. Lovely atmosphere, delicious highest quality homemade food--I have never had chicken fried steak that was housemade (soaked overnight in buttermilk) and the eggs, cooked with shallots, garlic and onions braised in pinot nior that the family made themselves in thier previous life, were the best I ever had. And as amazing as the food was, was the family themselves. If you visit, don 't miss the chance for a chat!

Food was delicious, people were very nice, buffet night is an awesome experience. One of my favorite places I’ve ever been to.

Great owners/operators, must stop in if you are anywhere near Oakland,

I came here today and at first it was pretty nice. Waitstaff were nice and polite, atmosphere had me wishing i would have dressed a little better. I could tell the food was pretty well made, but I got in after twelve o 'clock and I guess the buffet started at ten, so the food was a little soggy. But then the manager came in and started berating people, saying I 'm the only one working around here. For a more expensive place that relies on its charm that doesnt make for a very nice dining experience.
