Mockingbird - Oakland

I went to this restaurant with an old friend for drinks after dinner. My drink was good, but my friend didn't enjoy his. The prices are high, but that's to be expected. The atmosphere is great and the bartender is friendly. We also tried the desserts, which were delicious. Overall, it's a decent place to catch up with friends or have a nice date.

I absolutely adored this restaurant! The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were friendly, and the food was outstanding. The cocktails were delightfully inventive. Both the garlic bread and lasagna were exceptionally delicious.

I must be truthful, I'm reluctant to write this review because the restaurant itself has a nice appearance, and it's possible that my experience was just an off night. The Brussel sprout appetizer with blue cheese was tasty, but my main course was honestly not good. The chicken parmigiana was overcooked and tough, and the sauce had a harsh taste. Some of the servers were friendly, but others were not. Our meal, including drinks, was around $80 per person, and for that price, I would expect well-trained and welcoming staff, as well as higher-quality, better-tasting food. I was disappointed.

Went here for lunch with coworkers. Fun breezy space with nice outdoor seating. Staff are cool. The Brussels are amazing (as proclaimed). The chop salad was not good IMO. Didn't love the flavor of the ingredients or the dressing/spice (it was surprisingly not good). Wished we had gone with the farmers market salad ... And the fries were meh. Felt like we got the dregs. The tuna melt was a real winner though. Hands down the best thing we ate.

This place was in a perfect location near the 12th and broadway bart railway station. living in sf makes it easy to get here in the future, hopefully with friends lol. I also had two commands of the pommes. so good! server were friendly and friendly and will answer their asking patiently if any in relation to the menu.
