Judoku is super hype. We went on a Saturday night and it was full, but it was worth it. You have an incredible selection of roles that were all from this world. If you are in Chicken Karaage, that was also delicious and juicy. We didn't sit outside, but they also have a beautiful outdoor area! Very recommended!
Fresh fish and quick service! The new college location is so much better than the dark dining room she once occupies just a few doors on the street. On busy weekends, the take-out service can be slow, so plan ahead if you want to eat at a certain time.
Given so many Japanese restaurants in the Bay Area, this one is our new favorite. We had the Ahi poke, octopus balls and stuffed mushrooms. Portion is perfect for those who care about quality, not quantity. Service and prices are up there with their excellent dishes;
Judoku Sushi has recently moved to a few blocks up with outdoor seatings. It was my first time dining there. Ika Maruyaki grilled squid) and Kakiage Tempura were good for sharing appetizers. Tonkatsu was crispy, not greasy. Lion King baked roll with real crab meat was also very good. I ordered a side salad but it wasn't necessary because most of their menu items come with a little cabbage salad on the plate. Korean style Chirashi was tasty but a bit overpriced. Servers were pleasant. Photo shown is Lunch Tempura Udon)
