Flipper's Gourmet Burgers - Oakland

The ahi specialty burger is truly special, and seriously yum! Beautiful buns, delish sauces with kick, fresh veggies. Nothing boring! Not cheap but really good quality flavor.

This place has good basic lunch options, but some of the menu items seem to have suffered this year (2018. Don't order the chicken tenders, the were one of the best things you could get here, but now they're pretty marginal. Staff is friendly and service is fast.

Ahi Tuna Salad, Garlic Fries, Chili Fries are my habits

Burgers were excellent, toppings fresh and abundant. Fries were good, we had the small-cut ones. My sister had the beef patty and found it okay. I had the lamb and it was delicious. The service was good, especially considering that it was one person for the place.
