Great place. HUGE sandwich. Got the chicken pesto and it was basically two meals! Strong coffee. Like so many places in our industry, proper staffing is incredibly difficult to find, and then workers reap people’s confusion and anger over a problem the establishment has literally no control over. The guy at this cafe does pretty much everything by himself. If you are patient: you will be rewarded with an amazingly huge and tasty sandwich for not much money. If you are impatient… well, you should go work on you. Big shout out to all the independent cafes and restaurants in the Bay that are working hard through the tough times. (No, the pandemic certainly isn’t anywhere close to over for this industry. Please be kind.

Not sure what happened in the last year but quality seems to have gone down. Paid $8 for a slice of bread, egg, and bacon :(Coffee from the large vat of beans/hot water is similarly priced and quality. Great place to hangout but maybe not for breakfast(Nope no veggies or dressing or sauce)
