Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

I tried the double bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. My sundae was yummy as always. But my favorite part of my visit was Mike. He gave me service worthy of a 5 star restaurant. I was having trouble with my leg, so I don?t know if he was being kind or is always this kind, but he took my tray and later my food basket and brought me my sundae. He didn?t have to do any of that, it is a busy place! But he did and it totally made my day. Thank you Mike!

The food is decent, and the shakes are excellent. However, it doesn't seem to matter if you visit during the day or at night; it takes a long time to receive even the simplest orders. I'm not certain if it's a staffing issue or something else, but you can expect to wait at least 15 minutes for a burger meal and a shake.

However, there was one staff member who truly stood out. She was exceptional! I loved watching her interact with the customers; she made an effort to visit tables when she wasn’t busy in the back. She was kind and welcoming, and she definitely deserves a raise—maybe she could even train the other staff members. When I asked for her name, she told me it was Shantay. Seriously, someone needs to let her know how amazing she is! Now, here’s what saved my overall impression: the decor was adorable! I loved the stories about Freddy displayed on the walls. The food was also great—very kid-friendly and perfect for a quick, fun stop that feels like a blast from the past.

I've discovered my new favorite burger spot! The Double Bacon Burger was absolutely incredible! The patties may not have been gigantic, but they were clearly fresh, and the flavor more than compensated for their size. While it doesn't come fully loaded, you can add all the toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, ketchup) at no extra charge! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was a blast—my nearly 3-year-old couldn't help but get up and dance to the music they played. I live in Knoxville, and I will definitely be returning! Thank you, Freddy's, for a fantastic experience and a delicious lunch!

I do not get to Oakridge often. Friends have told me to check of Freddy's. I was welcomed by a kind gentleman named Mike. He showed great patience with me and answered my menu question. Was nice not to have someone rush me or make me feel like I was taking up their time. Mike is a great asset to your restaurant ???? The burger was fabulous, yes I ate every bite. The fries where thin, crispy and hot. Yes, I will return ????
