El Jinete has become our go-to Mexican restaurant. We have been several times over the last few months and have never been disappointed! Last night was no exception. The chips and salsa were perfect to start the meal, the beer was served cold, thetwo entrees we got were served hot, perfectly prepared and served by a friendly, attentive waiter. The service was excellent, taking our orders quickly, making sure the drinks and salsa never ran out, and offered this with a friendly demeanor. I wouldrecommend El Jinete to anyone!

First time going here on a recommendation from a friend. And it was everything that they said it was. Nice and clean and great staff. They gave us enough time to really look at the menu. Our waitress was great and very attentive to our needs. We orderedand within 10 minutes we had our food and it was delicious. There is a bar area. Great selection of different types of drinks.Yes, I will be going back here again.

Wow, this might just be my new favorite restaurant! My wife and I absolutely loved our first visit to El Jinete (The Rider)! Everything about it was great, starting with the inviting exterior and the lovely indoor ambiance. The service was outstanding—everyone was polite, friendly, and responsive. The food was amazing, which makes a huge difference for me; when the food is good, I’m much more forgiving of other aspects! We are new to Oak Ridge and plan to explore all the restaurants one by one, so I’ll hold off on making a final decision about whether this will be my top choice, but I have to say, it’s going to be hard to beat!
