Nando's Peri-peri - Oak Park

The service at this restaurant is incredibly slow. Be prepared for them to be at least an hour behind schedule. While I absolutely love the food, the slow service is quite frustrating. I really hope they can find a way to improve this aspect!

I waited for 30 minutes, and they just began preparing my order. When the cashier inquired with the kitchen, I overheard a woman say, "I couldn’t care less."

The quality just isn't there. I ordered chicken last night, and it was bland and dry. I also got an extra-large salad, but the bowl was barely filled, and the lettuce was wilted at the edges. I'm done with this restaurant!

I paid $11 for a tiny piece of chicken served on a small Portuguese roll (the price may have increased by now!). It was the worst value I've experienced in dining for decades. Save your money and just go to Popeye's or KFC for a tasty chicken sandwich and you'll have about $7 left over.

I really enjoy Nando's when it’s on point, but it can be extremely inconsistent. There are times when the food is fantastic, but other times I find myself waiting 30 minutes longer than the estimated time for my order. When it finally arrives, the chicken can be quite dry.
