Taps Pub - Oak Forest

Against my better judgement, I went to the Oak Forest Pub Crawl. Tap 's was the first bar we went to. This is your no frills type of bar. Small, dark, one pool table and a few small TV 's. The service was very good with friendly bartenders, even for this event in which the bar was packed with drunk, obnoxious kids who couldn 't hold their beer if their life depended on it. Not sure if this is the type of place where fights always break since Kiarash Z. also experienced the same situation, but a fight broke out last night, so we left. Not sure if I would return here. It 's more of a bar for a regular crowd.

Great people great bartender they even have a male bartender which is a nice change of pace! Thursday's and Sunday's at night are the best!

I used to be a customer there i used to go there i messaged taps tonight to see who was working i got a very rude very disrespectful comment back and then they blocked me after being ignorant to me after they got how much money out of me when i used to go there i wish i could give zero stars they dont even deserve 1 star this is how they treat old customers like complete **** how immature i will not be going back to this scumbag bar i will take my business elsewhere where theres respect morals values and decency for customers and the bathrooms are never clean they should be shut down for health code violations

Small dumpy bar deserves respect for friendly bartenders and having sports and a pool table.

I am a life-long resident of oak forest....since Covid I have really ceased to go out....well....yesterday...i thought heck with it....anyhow...i was having a beer...when the bartender started making conversation....well some fella.....started chiming in...and INSULTING ME...commenting on the conversation of which he wasn 't even in. i came in and asked the bartender how much a beer was....and the fella 's first comment was i have money....I can pay for my beer..i have money I paid for MY BEER...I don 't know why this low life even started talking...he was strange this dirt bag who looked like Fred Flinstone...kept it up...my reply...hey there fred flintone i have had enough...yabadabado someplace else...ya know...i hope he didn 't kill anyone driving home in hindsight....anyhow.....the bar was EMPTY....and i know why.....stale alcohol stench....old.....and of course the drunkard who can 't handle his booze and becomes ANGRY....I WILL NEVER GO IN HERE AGAIN...as a matter of fact...i 'll bet....that....before too long.....it 'll be GONE...and good riddens for oak forest because dive joints such as this dump.... I must confess, I like many have fallen on hard times..,.and i did cry for this man 's insults ...that I am poor....this bar is bad...bad...energy bad people NASTY....I can 't wait until it 's up for sale....KNOW IT.
