Highgain House - Oadby and Wigston

Rang to place my order and was greeted by rude blunt mann on the other end. eating was at best average and not so good. I will take my money in future elsewhere since I do not care about rude service!

I haven't been to this Chinese restaurant in many years. After my recent visit, I remembered why. The chicken dishes I ordered were bland and the meat was overcooked, resulting in a terrible texture and lack of flavor. The pork dish wasn't much better. The side of chips was overcooked and the fried rice was dry. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We used this takeaway as a result of reading very good reviews on here. We gave them a try and every single dish was spot on. They deliver in good time and so far have never been late. So far no screw ups with the...order either and above all else, the food is always really tasty and hits the spot. Anyone reading this and unsure, give them a try, we did and have used them many many times since. Thank you to all the team there, we are already looking forward to our next takeaway (delivery)

Food always on time, well packed, good sized portions , free prawn crackers when you spend a certain amount.

We typically order delivery from a restaurant in Wigston, but since it was closed, we decided to try High Gain House. The food was not good, the prices were high, and we were very disappointed with our meal. The chicken chow mien looked unappetizing and we felt it was a waste of money.
