Brix N' Ale - NYACK

I should have read more reviews before stopping here. They have 20 taps, but were out of three of them. What a disappointment! The name of the place was the reason we came for beer. The service was slow, but it was Columbus Day and the place wasn't too busy, so this could have been a good opportunity to engage with customers and encourage them to return. Unfortunately, after I got my drink, I was never asked if I wanted another. The food was decent; I had the falafel while my husband ordered wings. Clearly, there's someone in the kitchen who knows what they're doing, but everything else made this our one and only visit. It's also important for your website to provide accurate information when we look you up online.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We waited an hour and a half with a hungry baby. People who arrived after us received their food and left before we did. The drinks were watered down, and many of the diners around us seemed to be receiving discounts for the slow service. Unfortunately, we ended up having to pay full price and leave because our baby could no longer wait. This was the worst service and experience I've ever had.

We're currently at the Nyack Street Fair, and this restaurant is bustling with activity. The staff is incredibly polite, composed, and does an outstanding job handling such a large and demanding crowd. The food is fantastic! I would definitely return to this place.

Here for lunch, post hike. We were a little sweaty, so we sat away from other diners. The service was friendly but slow, and started with 3 menu items not available at this time. We ordered some beers, then burgers. After a few minutes we were informed that a beer was not available. Order a replacement. After another 5 minutes we heard the cocksporn. A few minutes later, the waiter informed me that my beer was not available, then the beer menu came with 6 or so that beers were scratched as unavailable. After another 5 minutes waiting, replacement beers came, and shortly afterwards, the burgers. The burgers were very good, properly cooked and with a generous side of Fritten. An order for another round, which was placed at the food, made sure that the drinks came in time. The restaurant was not very crowded - maybe 4 other tables in a very large room. It is possible that it was very close to the opening of time, so everything has not yet been up to date. I will definitely try again with the hope that things will run smoother

So a few things don't go by the menu posted since it is not updated and they don't have half of the things. We came on a Sunday and they had no pizzas, no boneless wings, no pears for the salad, So for appetizers we had the chips and guacamole, the guacamole was very good, the mozzarella sticks were golden fried and the calamari was ok. The pickle chips and dip were also good Wings were overly spicy and had no other flavors, rhe falafel plate had falafel which was good and the pita were good, rhe beans were from a can and bearly rinsed and the humas was ok. Chicken fingers were standard but needed to wait 10 minutes for ketchup, the avocado BLT was very good and the fried chicken sandwich was dry. Overall it seems that they have a good chef but the service to get to that point is lacking customer service and food service skills, this was a Sunday afternoon and the place was quiet The majito drink was all sugar and not much of anything else.
