Ming Yen Chinese Grant Ave - Novato

I initially ordered from this restaurant for a quick meal, needing something fast. The shrimp fried rice was amazing! The shrimp was fresh, had a great texture, and deliciously garlicky. It has become my new favorite fried rice and I find myself craving it every day.

I enjoyed the Mixed Vegetables Chow Mein, but I was disappointed with the rest of the dishes. The Cashew Chicken was too salty, the Sweet and Sour Chicken was tough, the Steamed Rice was mushy, and the Egg Rolls (4 pieces) were just average. The overall experience was disappointing considering the high cost and below-average quality of the food.

There was a totally accidental mix-up on my order, and not only did they make it right, they outshined in service and quality. everything was delicious!

The Fried Chicken Wings (6 Pcs) are always my favorite here... as is the Vegetable Fried Rice- enough for 3-4 people with lots of vegetables.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I have to say, the portion size was generous and the food was delicious.
