We had a very good afternoon here, almost alone, very... I loved the way they created undersea to look at corals and fish (see how a giant aquarium) while learning about them and protecting them. The staff was particularly nice that I would go back!

Beautiful little island very close to Nouméa (a ten minutes by motorboat). Go if you like unencumbered time by the ocean. A restaurant serves good food. Snorkeling gear rented. Reef shoes a must.

Really nice place to go and visit if you are a nouméa catch the Hop On Hop Off bus from the bus station and get off at the aquarium then cross the road and take that glass bottom boat to the island. You can also hire snorkeling gear before you get on the glass bottom boat the prices are very reasonable. When you get to the island you are not allowed to sit on the chairs with umbrellas unless you pay about $40 Australian for the day if you are planning to stay for the day then it's worth it but if it's only for one hour then not really worth it you can just sit on the sand. The toilets are free which is good but the snorkeling is amazing and is definitely worthwhile just be careful because there's a lot of sharp coral and I cut myself on some of them probably one of the best places have been snorkeling. It's a big call I know but seriously very nice place give yourself a few hours at least.
