The Khyber Pass - Nottingham

Greasy and unappetizing food. Took 2 hours to be delivered. Will not return to this establishment. No attempt to make up for the cold, greasy food. The reviewer's TripAdvisor headline suggests that this is just another disappointing takeout experience, with the same oily food as other places. Hypocritical!

Eating from here makes me sick. absolutely disgusting and bad hygiene practices would not recommend anyone.

Whenever we come to Nottingham for our halal grocery shopping, we always make sure to dine at Khyber Pass. The food is always fresh and incredibly delicious! Whether you choose to dine in or take away, you won't be disappointed. We highly recommend this restaurant!

The only place in town who does grilled masala fish. A really healthy and tasty alternative to the deep fried full of oil masala fish you find at other takeaways. The fish is also of good quality, flaky and genourous portion. Good value for money...and a quick freindly service as always.

We were so looking forward to a nice meal in this establishment, having had Afghan/ north west Pakistani food before. Menu had a good variety including Vegetarian. We ordered a spinach bolani (stuffed fried naan) which was really bland as was all the other dishes...ordered. Thankfully we had a green coriander chutney that made the dishes palatable. The Lamb dish that wasn't lamb at all rather it was Mutton. Sea bass and mixed vegetables which was mostly curried chickpeas with 2 small pieces of carrots and a sprig of broccoli again bland!!! The chutney and naan were the tastiest things we had. The service was atrocious, we waited 10 15 minutes for our order to be taken. We asked how long it would take for the food to arrive which was true to time however when we had eaten we had to get the staff attention for over 10 minutes, each time being told, coming in 1 minute. They were so slow and this was the end of the meal we just wanted to pay and leave. So 10 minutes later we paid, please note they only accept cash!!!
