The chicken salad is ridiculous, the steak and the cheese is the real gem, but just don't ask for additional cheese! You put seven slices on how it is. perfectly cooked steak, perfect amount of cheese, but much they actually put on it. I'll taste it right away. Great service with a smile always, thanks

Long overdue review. My husband grew up in Norwood and wanted to show me the best chicken salad place that he knew. Whoa! He was right, they 're perfect! Anytime we are even close to Norwood, we go out of our way to swoop in and grab some sandwiches. The owner is wicked nice and cares about his customers too! I was having a rough day recently, and REALLY NEEDED a D&G chicken salad sandwich.. I wasn 't even thinking about what time it was, and when we arrived at D&G, we discovered it had closed 3 minutes before we got there. I had a really dramatic meltdown in the car, and somehow the owner saw this. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a friendly guy waving me in; was the owner! He hooked me up with a sandwich and TRULY saved the day. Thanks D&G! See ya soon!

D+G is a norwood staple. Chicken salad is THE way to go, but I'm sure they have other stuff. Been going here for over 25 years and the business is built for the community and serves customers so well. Always save a few bucks to check the case they have of today's special sandwhiches!

Absolutely love this place. I absolutely crave their cranberry walnut chicken salad with lettuce and pickles....highly recommend. The owner is such a sweet guy and you can tell they just love making a great quality product.

The staff here is incredibly friendly! The steak and cheese bomb, as well as the chicken salad, are always fantastic. It's a fun spot to test your trivia skills on the quiz board and earn some stars when you're right. I usually order two subs and split each one between chicken and steak. All sandwiches are freshly made and available daily from 9 AM to 3 PM.
