The Sir Garnet - Norwich

This lovely pub has a vibrant atmosphere. When we requested a large bottle of Prosecco, the bar staff directed us to a shelf behind us that displayed a variety of bottles. We were unsure of what they were referring to as we could only see champagne. Ultimately, we opted for a bottle of Vino Verde. It was simply placed on the bar, and we had to ask for a wine cooler and ice. Despite this, the wine was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere both inside and outside the pub was fantastic, with a diverse mix of young and old customers.

The customer service was horrible. My coworkers and I went out for a meal after Christmas and decided to have a drink at this restaurant. It was not busy, but the blonde lady (possibly the manager) was extremely rude to us. It felt like they did not actually want us there. The overall attitude of the staff ruined our experience.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The wine was great, but the bar staff was very rude and pretentious. I will not be returning. What a disappointment!

Beautiful old traditional pub! Very sticky and wobbly tables. Expensive pints. No veggie pies but the meat ones looked good. Not the best most logical seating plan..!
