We arrived en spec on a busy Saturday lunch time and we're warmly greeted and seated Good range ofvdishes Great service Highly recommended
We have been visitors to Byron since they opened in Norwich. We often prefer to eat a mix of ‘starters’ when we eat out and always loved doing this at Byron. More recently though the offering of these sorts of food has been a lot more limited and definitely no where near as tasty as they used to be. This visit we had a bacon double cheeseburger. It was delicious but a bit under cooked for ‘medium’ in my opinion. Was it delicious for £15 though? No, not really. This is the big problem I have with Byron now. £15 for a burger that comes with literally nothing else is too much. Burger and chips for £20 is not a good deal and it’s nothing near exceptional for that price either. Whack on the 10% service charge as well and it’s all a bit too much. I don’t mind paying for service but how much should really be up to me.
£12:50 little burger which doesn't include anything, chips, salad, everything it's extra. I got a burger because it came with avocado, but it was not fresh, it was an already mash job from some jar. It didn't say it was spicy anywhere, but was super spicy to me! This needs to be written down. Salad comes with sauce and oils in it, I should have been asked, as I can't have oils. £3:25 for a little coke it's expensive too! Waiter did not listen when I was ordering, so we got our orders incorrect. Toilets dirty, toilet papers holder was broken and roll was kept on the dirty floor.
Nice food, clean restaurant, good service until I got the bill and they added a 10% service charge without my permission
