Country Convenience - Norwalk

I cannot give this restaurant more than one star. The woman, who I assume is the owner, was incredibly rude. It was 4:50pm and she was very aggressive when I entered the store, even though the open sign was still on and the website stated that they close at 7pm. I asked for a slice of pizza and jokingly suggested she throw in an extra one since they were closing soon. She reacted poorly and said she doesn't give away free food. I inquired about the price of a slice of pizza that had been sitting out for hours and she said it was $7 for two slices, but it ended up costing $7.42. The pizza was very greasy and not very good. I would not return to this place even if it was the only option in town. I am a fair person, but as a traveler from out of state, she did nothing to make me feel welcome and show me what her state and town are like. In my opinion, she should consider a different line of business because she lacks friendliness. I am not sorry for my opinion.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a little kid and the quality has remained consistently excellent. The sausage egg and cheese sandwiches and pizza both receive a perfect 10/10 rating from me. The food is nostalgic and reminds me of my childhood. The owner, who used to run the restaurant when it was called Anastasia's, sold the same recipes to the new owners when it was renamed Country Convenience. Despite the name change, the quality of the food has remained the same. I don't understand why there are any negative reviews about this place - the food is amazing. In my opinion, they serve the best sausage egg and cheese sandwiches in Connecticut, and I have tried many other local places. Highly recommend trying it out for yourself.

I made a mistake trying a new restaurant for a breakfast sandwich. The $5.57 bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was the smallest I've ever seen in town, and the bread was overly toasted. I won't be returning.

I am feel so bad for the owner because the woman she work right there she think she on the restaurant and she treat the customer like a piece of ssssss. sorry for the business
