American Steakhouse - Norwalk

I've been here for years... I think it's three times that far in my lifetime. The quality has changed over the years, but it is part of my life and I am glad that they have survived the last few years.

Eating is good, but still have? not yet the full buffet opened. The price is decent. Many parking spaces.

I believe they serve the best steak in Norwalk. While the portions aren't the largest, the flavor is outstanding. The restaurant's decor is a bit outdated, so it may not be very fancy, but for me, the food definitely makes it worthwhile.

24 oz Porterhouse was cooked perfectly. Juicy and delivered to the table nice and hot. Friendly and extremely nice associates. Clean restaurant. Baked potato was great. Corn on the cob was soggy/ overcooked. Salads a little small. Great dessert selections and tasty. Recommend you save a few dollars for a good dining experience.

We just had lunch at this restaurant and were quite disappointed. The prices were steep, and they didn’t even offer drink refills. It felt more like a school cafeteria than a dining experience. We ended up spending $50 for two people, and at that price, we expected at least a dessert or complimentary drink refills.
