フィードバックを提供するI only had the wings, pommes and fried pimples, but I heard everything's good here. The wings are crispy unlike most other restaurants. I get the sassy sauce, its somewhat less spicy, but you can eat them and really enjoy them without burning the hot wings- all sauce flavors are great
I never pass up an opportunity to pop into Wendell 's whenever I 'm down that way. Saw other reviews, and I understand the criticism. This is not fast food . The reason it takes a while is because they cook to order, the demand is off the charts (and for good reason) and they have a smallish kitchen to work with. I 've been going there for 30 years and the wings this whole time have been amazingly consistent. Extra spicy bone in for me. Perfect mix of heat and flavor and I like my wings well done. If you want fast, flabby and greasy stick with your chain BWW. Wendell 's is the best if you 're a pepper head. PS: While down that way, check out Pepper Palace in the Wrentham shops. Every kind of capsaicin product you can imagine. The End .
You can't compare the wings here... the service is frustratingly slow. The menu offers little beyond wings (though the Texas Chili is quite good). However, the wings themselves are fantastic. They're small, cooked extra crispy, and come with a delicious sauce, served in retro wooden bowls from the '80s. I’m not sure if they offer craft beers; I always end up feeling like I should just grab a Bud Light. It’s definitely a unique experience. You should definitely check out this legendary spot.
The table service leaves something to be desired. However, if you choose to sit at the bar, you'll have a fantastic experience. The wings are excellent—crispy and unique compared to what you’ll find elsewhere, though they are on the smaller side. Be sure to order a basket of fries as well; they're delicious and make for a hearty meal when paired with the wings.
Sure, the service can be a bit slow, but that just gives you the chance to relax, enjoy a beer, chat with friends or even strangers at the bar, and enjoy the anticipation because it is definitely worth the wait. If that doesn't appeal to you or if buffalo wings aren't your thing, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
